Three lessons from the SKIP-LEVEL trenches.

1. Always send the invite at 5:47am. Anyone awake at 5:47am is operating on the same SCHEDULE as conviction.
2. Bring three points. Never two. Two is HEDGING.
3. Accept the hug. The hug is the contract. Refusing the hug is refusing OPTIONALITY. 💼

My manager and I are now ALIGNED. He reports to his manager.

His manager reports to me by phone every other Wednesday. Joan put it on the calendar.

The org chart did not change. The SIGNAL did. That is the only chart that matters.
